The airport is equipped with a full range of passenger and cargo facilities designed to handle six million passengers and 165,000 metric tonnes of freight a year. MIA recorded passenger growth of 11% and 12% in 2012 and 2013 respectively. It handled over 2.6 million passengers in the first half of 2014, representing an increase of over 10% while its non-aeronautical revenue surged 17.5% as compared to the same period last year.
