Building team spirit in NWS Adventure Day 2011

(20 October 2011, Hong Kong) With an aim to promote work-life balance and boost team spirit among all staff members, NWS Holdings Limited (“NWS Holdings” or the “Group”; Hong Kong stock code: 659) held NWS Adventure Day 2011 at Yuen Long Kam Tin Country Club, attracting over 1,500 staff and their family members to participate.


In line with the Group’s concern over environmental friendliness, the event was themed as “Experiencing Green” this year for staff and their families to embrace nature. Executive Directors of NWS Holdings, Tsang Yam Pui, Patrick Lam, Tommy Cheung and William Doo Jr, who also joined the event with their family members, officiated at the ceremony. They then enjoyed the BBQ buffet lunch, game and cultural booths, dancing performance and juggling show together with staff members.


Besides, member companies actively involved in the team building game – Human Table Football through which team spirit was well demonstrated. Clown volunteers of the Corporate Volunteer Team, NWS Volunteer Alliance, walked around to twist balloons for participants. Two Chinese Dance shows were also performed by the Dancing Team. All staff and families enjoyed the outdoor facilities under the green environment.


As always, the Group values corporate social responsibility and invited members of NWS Achievers, the first youth training programme of the Group, to participate in the Adventure Day where they could have a chance to communicate with the management and corporate volunteers to broaden their horizons.
